Summary

Adam is a university student who is majoring in mortuary science. He is awkward and timid, so he spends most of his time drawing or reading instead of socializing with other people his age. He has an internship at a mortuary, and the smell of death rubs off on him. He likes spending time in the morgue alone, which gives him the opportunity to come into contact with the corpses, both romantically and sexually. His coworkers are unaware of his actions.

At home, Adam has an abusive father, Seth. Adam is a victim of violent, romantic, and sexual advances from Seth, who claims it is out of love. Adam can’t stand the warmth of living human beings due to it being a reminder of his father, so he finds comfort in corpses instead. Corpses can’t hurt him, after all.
